# Account settings

Account settings cover how your account is identified and how ResponseHub writes
on your behalf. You need to be an [admin](/managing-your-team/roles/) to change
them.

## Name and logo

Set your account **Name** and upload a **Logo**. These identify the account
throughout the app, which matters most when you belong to more than one.

## Response language

Choose whether answers are written in **US English** or **British English**. The
setting applies to generated answers, so they match how your organisation writes
everywhere else.

## How your organisation is referred to

Answers have to refer to your organisation somehow, and you choose which:

- **Generic Reference** — answers say "the organisation", so the same wording
  suits any customer
- **Company Name** — answers use your organisation's actual name

Generic reference is the safer default for reusable answers; the company name
reads better when you want a response to feel specific. An example of each is
shown beneath the setting so you can see the difference before choosing.

## Security

**Require two-factor authentication** makes two-factor mandatory for everyone on
the account. See
[two-factor authentication](/managing-your-team/mfa/).

## Transfer the account

You can transfer ownership of the account to another user on it. Choose the
person and confirm.

**Transferring hands over ownership:** The new owner takes on the account, including its billing. Transfer when someone
is leaving or handing over responsibility, not as a way to share access — for
that, give them the [admin role](/managing-your-team/roles/) instead.

## Account profile

The account profile is a separate, longer set of questions about your
organisation, used to give ResponseHub context when it answers. See
[account profile](/managing-your-account/profile/).
