Answering questions

Once the questions are saved, you can answer them in the extension or in ResponseHub. Both write to the same questionnaire — the choice is about which is more comfortable, and that mostly comes down to size.

Select Auto answer all questions to answer everything that is ready to be answered, without leaving the portal. Individual questions have their own Auto Answer button, which becomes Re-generate Answer once answered.

Open the questionnaire in ResponseHub and start answering there as you would for any other questionnaire.

For a short portal — a couple of sections, fewer than about 20 questions — extract and answer in the extension. It is quicker than moving between two places for a handful of questions.

For a long portal — several sections, more than about 50 questions — do the answering in ResponseHub:

  1. Work through each portal section, extracting the questions as you go.

  2. Check the questionnaire in ResponseHub to confirm every question was captured.

  3. Answer and review in ResponseHub, assigning questions to subject matter experts as needed.

  4. Approve the answers.

  5. Go back to the portal to fill them in.

The reason is space. Nearly all the functionality exists in the extension, but it sits in a sidebar alongside the portal itself. ResponseHub gives you the full interface built for reviewing at volume — and it is where you can assign questions to colleagues, which is usually what a long questionnaire needs.
