Getting started with the Chrome extension
Not every security questionnaire arrives as a spreadsheet. Many customers use a portal instead — you are sent a link, you log in, and you fill the questionnaire in through their web forms.
Portals are convenient for the customer requesting the information. They are usually harder for the vendor answering it:
- Bringing colleagues in is awkward — there is no easy way to hand a question to the person who knows the answer
- You cannot work through everything in one place
- The experience itself is often poor, particularly with older portals
The ResponseHub Chrome extension brings ResponseHub into the portal, so a portal questionnaire is worked on the same way as any other.
Install and sign in
Section titled “Install and sign in”-
Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
-
Open the extension and enter your Email and Password.
Use the same credentials you use for ResponseHub itself.
-
If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, enter your one-time code when prompted.
Signing in connects the extension to your ResponseHub account, so the questionnaires you work on in a portal are the same ones your team sees in the app.
