Account profile
The account profile describes your organisation: how you work, the kind of work you do, and who your customers are. It is a set of questions you answer once and revisit as things change.
It is worth filling in properly, because it does two jobs.
Context for answers
Section titled “Context for answers”Your sources describe your policies, but not the shape of your business. The profile supplies that — so answers are framed for an organisation like yours rather than in the abstract.
Deciding what applies
Section titled “Deciding what applies”ResponseHub uses the profile to judge whether a question is applicable to an organisation like yours. Questionnaires are written to cover many kinds of vendor, so a good proportion of any given one won’t apply to you.
That assessment is only as good as the profile behind it. A thin profile means more questions marked Not Checked or wrongly marked applicable, and more work for you.
