Extracting questions

Before anything can be answered, the questions have to come out of the portal and into your questionnaire. The extension reads the page you are on and finds everything that looks like a question.

Extract the questions on a page

1. Open the extension on the portal page holding the questions.

2. Select Extract questions.

   The extension reads the page and lists what it found under Extracted Questions.

3. Review the list and remove anything that isn’t a question.

   Portals contain instructions, headings, and comments, and these are sometimes picked up alongside the real questions.

4. Select Save All.

The questions are saved to your questionnaire in ResponseHub.

Work through every section first

Extraction covers the page you are looking at. A portal split across several sections needs extracting section by section — move through each one, extract, and save as you go.

When you have been all the way through, check the questionnaire in ResponseHub to confirm nothing was missed before you start answering.
