Roles

Everyone on your account has one of three roles. You set the role when you invite someone, and an admin can change it later from Manage Users.

Admin — full access to everything. Admins can do everything a member can, and also manage billing, invite and remove people, change roles, and manage the account’s settings.

Member — full use of the app. Members can create and edit questionnaires and RFPs, manage sources and the knowledge base, and answer and approve. They cannot manage billing or the account itself.

Viewer — read-only, plus the ability to ask individual questions from the home page. Viewers can see everything in the account but cannot create, edit, or delete anything.

Admins and members take a billable seat. Viewers are free, and you can have as many as you like.

That makes the viewer role genuinely useful rather than a consolation prize. It suits anyone who needs visibility and quick answers without doing the work of filling questionnaires in — customer success and account executives being the usual examples. They can look up how you answer a security question before a customer call, without taking a seat.
